Future Plans

Last night I growled and hissed that I would tell everyone about future book plans when I felt human again and I'm making good on that promise. Much to my husbands (and cats) relief, I woke up more myself. So, here's what's on tap for the rest of this year and into 2015.

With Sayan Knights buttoned up and sitting on the runway, we finished plotting out Anareta.  (Dare I say...Book Two) I've had the general summary written down for several months, seeing that there was no way to tell this story in one book. So, not only did we finish what we started earlier in August while I was in Montana, (expanding the plot summary) we got it broken down into scenes and I managed to get the first 15K words written. The first chapter of Anareta is included at the end of Sayan Knights. How's that for productive. Here's the fabulous cover the Monica from The Thatchery designed for this book.

And because all good things come in threes, we hammered out a plot for book three, Nemesis. That one promises to be action packed and it went places we never saw coming.

At the present time, I can't see doing any more books in the Sayan Series after Nemesis. Perhaps some prequels involving Nicholoay starting the village, or shorts post series. But we'll see. At the moment I have something on all four burners and a few things in the oven, so to avoid burnout, I'll only tackle five things at a time.

We also got more chapters in Somewhere Only We Know back from editing and I am ready to start dripping more of that onto Wattpad. Somewhere Only We Know is a relationship prequel to 1929 and another one that has been sitting on the back burner for awhile. It's time to get it wrapped up.

I also had an idea while watching Phillipa Gregory's The White Queen on Starz while Lisa was here. I thought to do a prequel book of secrets and confessions with our peeps from 1929. Oh, the secrets we could pull out of the woodwork. I mean, honestly, Arianna's past alone could be a entire book. That scandalous flapper. But all of our beloved characters have some dirty laundry that has yet to be aired. So that is in the earliest stages of development.

There's lots on tap and lots to keep me busy. Just how I like it.
