Getting Ready for Spring!

I couldn't let a week go by without working on some wood project, even while Lisa was visiting. I decided to make this strawberry ladder. With our hot sunny summers I'm sure to grow a few bushels. This would work well for herbs and flowers, too. (I might have to build more) Here's the link to the plans I used.

My husband and I had it together in just a few hours.

A note about the bottom box. It's not supposed to look like that and being a perfectionist it drives me crazy. As we were attaching the last box the screw broke and we tried everything to get it out. Alas, it is doomed to be crooked. Of course it will still grow berries just fine so I'm trying to overlook it.
