Oopsie!! What I use for "bread". For months I made homemade bread for the family and made this for myself to use. It isn't really bread at all and has no flour or sugar, but it holds up well to all kinds of sandwiches. Hubby loves it on or off low carb. The boys are getting used to it. It has a slight egg flavor if eaten alone, but I've noticed it takes on the flavor of what's on the sandwich. I highly recommend peanut butter and sugar free raspberry jam.
1/2 cup cream cheese
pinch of salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
Separate eggs. Whip the egg whites until stiff. Mix the yolks and the cream cheese together until smooth. Add baking powder. Fold cream cheese mixture into egg whites. Mix well but gently. Pour onto parchment paper and spread thin. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. After it cools, cut it into 6 or 8 slices depending on how big you like sandwiches.
